Born to Sports

From the day Dan was born it was clear he would be an athlete. He was already jumping before turning two. From the age of 3, he walked on his hands. Would move from place to place in rollers. He would stand on his head at every opportunity.
And he was a wild guy- Strong hands, fast legs.
There was no doubt - this kid was born to be an athlete

At the age of 4, he already participated in a Judo class with Eran Vardi
At the age of 5, he started playing tennis in Kfar Shmaryahu with Larry Greenblau
At the age of 6, he moved to play in Ramat Hasharon with Elisha Haim

Judo

At a young age it was clear that Dan must be taught to control his immense power. The decision to send him to a judo club at such a young age stemmed from the fact that it was necessary to teach Dan to master his abilities.

Although he was the smallest on the team, it was clear there was no chance for his opponents

At the age of 6, Eran Vardi decides that Dan will participate in a regional competition in Petah Tikva
When we got to the hall it was full of kids and Dan started the competition.
All battles lasted no more than a minute before Dandan was declared the winner

Then came the final
Opposite Dan stands the "Champion of Petah Tikva" that the entire hall roars and encourages. A sweet boy who was a champion ... until he met Dan.
Even before the battle, Dan stood and studied it. A 6.5-year-old boy with a yellow belt stands and learns the opponent.

Then the battle began. The crowd roars, and Dan in amazing style finishes in the iPhone.
Champion of the Sharon for feather ages - Dan Hanegbi
The first trophy goes up on the shelf in Dan's room

Tennis

At age 5, I first grabbed a bat. My mom's bat. I would take a pounding ball in the neighbors' fence wall across the street. At the age of 5 my mother took me to coach in Kfar Shmaryahu. Larry, threw Dan some balls, then some more balls, and some more. It was clear he was in shock. After that he turned to his mother and said: Do you want to pay me any rate or percentage of the income when he becomes a pro?

At the age of 7, Larry wanted to move Dan to Ramat Hasharon

In 1987 Dan came to Elisha

From here the road to professionalism was paved.

A tennis career that brought endless experiences, learning, achievements, crises, scholarships, travel abroad, friends from all over the country -  And especially the love of his life - Sasha

From 1985 Dan held the bat until graduating from Brown University
